- I didn't read all the comments so don't know if someone else already made this observation. It seems to me that if anyone got their position because they were approved of by the "elites" it was Clarence Thomas.

- The woman's behavior was certainly not appropriate but when I look at the video I don't see her "tossing" the baby. It looks to me like she handed the baby to someone who was across the aisle from where she was sitting.

- I usually agree with Dr. Caplan but not this time. When my mother died, the 911 operator wanted me to perform CPR -- I refused. Of course, I know my mother's situation better than I know the one of the 87 year old but the basics are the same.

- My mother was 97 when she died. She had a DNR and yet I had to call 911 (and by the way, Medicare doesn't pay for an ambulance to show up when the person is dead -- ask me how I know). That was the only way I could deal with all the issues.

- Well scott-1101616 it was also set in place when guns were single shot muzzle loaders. So I suggest that we make those legal and nothing else. There is no reason for civilians to have assault weapons. People who keep bringing up the Second Amendment just want an excuse.

- The comment that the polls in those states remain unchanged inspite of two debates doesn't surprise me. I have watched a lot of the coverage and the debates but I really didn't need to. The Republicans in Congress had already made up my mind for me.

- My experience tells me that women are more rational than men in the way they think. Men just like to cover their emotional thinking with a lot of claptrap that makes it look like it is something else -- anything else, actually. Women are more pragmatic, in my experience.

Yes. She did the right thing. The risk was well worth the reward in this case.
